H12 Leshiba: a magical nature and culture experience in the Soutpansberg.
H12 Leshiba is really something else: this Pearl in the program combines the Venda Culture with stunning nature. Situated in the Soutpansberg, up in the mountains, it offers unique nature, forest, wildlife, birds, rock art, horse back safaris and walking trails to enjoy. It is an amazing place in a unique biosphere. The lodge is an authentic traditional village re-created together with internationally renowned Venda artist, Noria Mabasa. The Village has 5 en-suite African style rondavels that open up to sculpted sun-baked courtyards and two spacious luxury suites with plunge pool and much privacy.
H12 Leshiba offers guided walks and game drives as well as adventure horse riding for experienced riders. Leshiba is a hikers paradise. There are 12 well-marked trails to explore the reserve without a guide. Wander freely amongst wildlife or bring your mountain bikes and challenge yourself on some of our bush tracks.
The cuisine is excellent, the relaxing area with plunge pool and the stunning view over the Duluni valley and the famous “most delicious bath in Africa” will make your stay unique and unforgettable.

Walking and hiking
Leshiba is a hikers paradise. There are 12 marked trails that lead you into all parts of the impressive reserve. Forests, ponds, waterfalls and plains can be crossed while encountering a great variety of animals, inclduing rhino. Free of charge.

Safari on horseback
For the experienced there is the possibility to explore the reserve on horse back. A thrilling adventure.
