Mopane Bush Lodge: a comfortable stay in one of the most spectacular areas in South Africa.

Mopane Bush Lodge, one of the Pearls from the Pearls of Limpopo program, is located in the most Northern part of the Limpopo province, South Africa. Close to the point where South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe meet, it offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy Mapungubwe National Park, Mapungubwe Hill, the World Heritage site of an ancient African civilisation with the Golden Rhino as its most important artefact, the confluence of the Limpopo and the Shashe river and to see unique rock art. In the National Park there are elephant, rhino and many more animals, you can make a board walk with views across the Limpopo river. Mopane offers very comfortable and luxurious, African style chalets with much privacy, outside shower, an open air dining room, pool and lapa.

Mapungubwe Hill

Mapungubwe Hill is a World Heritage site. Here you find the remnants of an ancient culture with a golden rhino as its artifact. A copy of it can be seen in the highly interesting Information Centre in the park.
